2023 Ford Focus 1.0 EcoBoost Active X 5dr Hatchback Petrol Manual
Description
So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s been a real workhorse for daily drives, long commutes, and just about everything in between. I bought it new from a Vospers dealership back in Devon, and it’s been a solid, reliable companion ever since. I’m now moving to Southwold, East Suffolk, and it’s time to part with it.It’s a 2023 Focus with the 1.0 EcoBoost engine — not flashy, but gets you where you need to go without burning too much fuel. The interior is full of modern touches: 13.2-inch touchscreen with SYNC4, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, B&O audio with 10 speakers, and wireless charging. I’ve used it for a lot of trips, so the features like lane keeping aid, eco mode, and automatic climate control have come in handy.
The ride is a bit sporty — it’s got a rough road suspension with increased ride height, and the wheels are 18-inch black machined alloy. There’s a decent amount of space, especially with the 3-seat bench in the second row. I’ve kept it well-maintained, and it’s got all the safety gear — airbags, ABS, traction control, electronic stability control, and even a post-collision brake system.
I’ve had it through a few seasons of weather — winter, summer, rain, snow — and it’s held up pretty well. The keyless entry, auto headlamps, and heated mirrors are nice little touches. The fuel capless system makes refuelling a breeze, and the quickclear heated windscreen is a real lifesaver when it’s raining.
It’s not a luxury car by any stretch, but it’s practical, efficient, and actually quite comfortable for everyday use. I’m not selling it for a big profit — it’s just that I’ve moved and need to make room. It’s been a great car to own, and I’m happy to pass it on to someone who’ll appreciate its reliability and practicality.
The price is £16,110 — not a huge sum, but it’s what it is. I’ve kept it well and it’s still running smoothly. If you’re looking for a dependable, no-nonsense hatchback that doesn’t take up too much space but still gets you around, this might be something worth considering.
I’m based in Southwold, East Suffolk, so if you’re local, I can arrange a quick view or even a test drive. Otherwise, it’s just sitting in the garage waiting to go somewhere new.
