Hey, I’ve got this massive original Victorian cast iron fireplace surround from around the 1890s — it’s a proper, full-sized piece, not a knock-off or anything. It’s the kind of thing you’d see in old homes, grand and solid, with that classic, elegant look.

I’ve had it professionally refurbished — sandblasted and then sprayed with a high-quality paint that mimics the old black lead finish. No need to worry about it chipping or fading over time like traditional lead does. It’s clean, solid, and totally original — no damage, no repairs, just pure vintage charm.

The fixing brackets are still there, and I’ve added thick L-brackets to the bottom of the legs so it’s super stable when you go to fit it. It’s not just pretty — it’s built to last.

Mantlepiece is 63.75 inches long by 11 inches deep. Stands 52.25 inches high and is 51 inches wide at its narrowest point. The opening is 37.5 inches high by 37.25 inches wide. Inside leg rebate is 2.5 inches.
