Got this old generator sitting in my shed in Elgin, Moray — it’s an 800-watt, 2-stroke petrol unit with 240V AC and 12V DC output. I only fired it up once, maybe an hour or so, so it’s practically brand new. Can run lights, charge phones, power hand tools, or even run small electric appliances. It’s been sitting quietly, and now I’m just letting it go. If the power goes out this winter, it’ll be a real lifeline.
