2013 MINI Cooper D 1.6 Diesel Hatchback
Description
I’ve had this 2013 MINI Cooper D for a few years now and it’s honestly one of the most reliable little cars I’ve ever owned. Only 15,000 miles, single owner, and it’s been properly looked after — no major repairs, just regular maintenance. I did a full history check and it shows clean records, which gives me confidence it’s been well kept. It’s a diesel, so gets through the miles without a fuss — I’ve been getting around 74 miles per gallon on average, which is pretty solid for a small hatchback. The 1.6L engine is smooth, and it accelerates nicely, hitting 62mph in about 9.7 seconds — not a sports car, but it’s definitely fun to drive, especially on the road or in the countryside.
Inside, it’s got basic Bluetooth, USB audio, automatic air conditioning with climate control, and a driver’s seat memory. I use the climate control a lot in the winter, and the seat memory is a real plus — I can just sit in my preferred position every time I get in.
It’s in great shape, low insurance group, and low CO2 — so it’s not just good for the road, it’s also economical to keep running.
I’m based in Kilmacolm, Inverclyde, and I’ve been keeping it in a garage most of the time. It’s not exactly a daily driver, but I’ve used it for weekend trips and short hops, and it’s held up really well.
I’ve been thinking about selling it, mostly because I’ve moved on to a different kind of car, but I figured it’s still a solid, practical car that’s been well cared for — and I’m not sure how many of these are around with such low mileage and clean history.
If you’re looking for a reliable, efficient, and actually enjoyable little hatchback with a bit of character — this might be worth a look. Price is £8,995.50 — I can give it to you if you're interested.
