Got this old VW Golf from 2010 – 1.6 diesel, 5-door, manual, 182k miles. It’s been parked for a bit, so it’s not in great shape for daily use. The rear bumper has a few small dents, but the body’s otherwise solid. MOT runs till April 2026, and I’ve had it on cheap insurance and tax – no fuss with paperwork. It starts and runs fine, but there’s an ABS light on the dash and it judders a bit when I floor it. I’ve just got a different car now, so I’m not planning to use it much. I’m not doing any major repairs, so it’s more of a spare or repair vehicle. It’s sitting in my garage in Wingate, County Durham. I’m not looking for silly offers – just a fair, no-nonsense one.
