2022 Peugeot 308 1.2 PureTech GT 5-door Hatchback
Description
I’ve been driving this Peugeot 308 GT for a few months now and honestly, it’s one of those cars that just feels right. It’s a 2022 model with the 1.2 PureTech engine – not the most powerful, but it’s smooth, responsive, and gets you where you need to go without much fuss. It’s got 130bhp and zips from 0 to 62 in about 9.4 seconds, which isn’t flashy but is plenty for everyday driving. The 8-speed automatic is quiet and easy to shift, especially on the motorway.Inside, it’s clean and comfortable – soft-touch materials, good seat ergonomics, and that i-Cockpit layout that’s pretty intuitive. The 10-inch touchscreen is handy with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and voice control works well. I use it a lot for navigation and music, and the ambient lighting helps set the mood when it’s dark.
The boot’s big – 412 litres – and there’s rear parking sensors, Matrix LED headlights, and a rear camera. It’s not flashy, but it’s practical. I’ve noticed it’s very fuel-efficient, around 45–52 mpg (WLTP), and the emissions are low at 122g/km, so it’s good for city and long drives alike.
I didn’t buy it new, it’s been through a few good checks and has a clean history. It’s got alloy wheels, keyless entry, push-button start, cruise control, DAB, Bluetooth, and all the safety stuff – ESP, ABS, hill start assist, lane keep assist, and even a driver attention warning. The seats have one-touch electric windows and anti-pinch features, and the tailgate has a heated windscreen with an auto wiper that turns on when you reverse.
I’ve kept it well-maintained, and it’s been driven mostly on local roads and short trips. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and has that nice, calm ride. I’m selling it because I’ve moved to Crieff, Perth and Kinross, and I’m looking for something a bit more compact and practical for daily use.
I’ll be honest – it’s not the most expensive car on the market, but it’s definitely one of the better ones for the price. It’s been a great companion for years, and I’m hoping someone else finds it as useful.
I’ve had it through a few inspections, and it’s been serviced regularly. If you’re looking for a solid, well-equipped hatchback that’s easy to drive and keeps you safe, this one might be worth a look.
Price is £16,015.50 – I’m not charging much, just giving it away to someone who’ll actually use it.
No fancy marketing here – just a real person, selling a car they’ve actually driven and used. Hope it helps someone out!
