Handmade Upcycled Mercedes Turbo Manifold Lamp

Description

Got this one from a old Mercedes bus turbo manifold – completely upcycled and turned into a lamp. It’s got that industrial, gritty charm you see in classic motoring stuff. The manifold itself is solid, the original shape’s still there, and I’ve mounted two old-style filament bulbs on it for that warm, flickery vintage glow. The base is a chunky wooden piece, stable and grounded. Height is about 68cm, manifold width 18cm, base is 30cm wide by 3.5cm tall. Works perfectly, bulbs are included.

It’s not just a lamp – it’s a piece that makes you stop and think, “Hey, that’s a real piece of car history.” I’ve got it in my garage at home in Fleetwood, Borough of Wyre, and it’s been sitting there for ages, just waiting for someone who’d appreciate the story behind it.
