Got this old Matchbox Superfast Mercedes 46 and it’s been sitting in a drawer for years — never opened, never exposed to sunlight. Still in that original box, and the finish is pristine. I’ve actually only ever looked at it once, just to check it was fine, and it’s been stored perfectly ever since. The boot opens, which is a nice little detail. It’s a real rarity to find one in this kind of condition. I’ve only just realised how special it is after seeing a few online.
