Description

So, I’ve had this Peugeot 300s for a couple of years now — bought it new, actually — and it’s been a solid daily driver. I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s got that modern hybrid setup, so it’s not too thirsty, especially on the way to Hindhead, Waverley.

The cabin is pretty nice — big 21-inch curved screen with a touchscreen that’s fully customisable, and it’s got all the smart bits: Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via wireless, voice commands, and even a natural voice recognition thing that actually works. I use it a lot for navigation, and Tom Tom Live keeps the maps updated, which is a real plus.

There’s a lot of little features that make it feel more like a proper car than a family hatch — like lane keep assist, driver attention alert, and even a driver profile so I can switch between my usual settings. The ambient lighting is actually kind of cool — changes with the drive mode (eco, normal, sport), and it’s not just for show.

I’ve got the standard trim with basalt grey badging, body-coloured door handles, and those dark tinted rear windows — gives it a bit of privacy and a sleek look. The roof and rear spoiler are body colour too, and the LED lights and daytime running lights are pretty noticeable.

Inside, it’s roomy — three seats in the back, plenty of storage with cupholders, USB-C ports (front and back), and three 12V sockets. The rear seats fold easily, and I’ve used it for long weekends to the hills. The automatic wipers, headlamps, and hazard lights all activate when you stop or brake hard — feels smart.

I’ve got a little bit of a habit of using the steering paddles to shift — it’s handy when I’m not in a rush. The rear parking sensors and speed limit detection help a lot when I’m driving on twisty roads.

It’s been a great car to keep around — I’ve done a fair bit of driving, but it’s still in great shape. I’m not selling it for a lot of money, it’s just that I’ve been thinking about selling it now, and I’ve got a few extra miles to go before I hand it over.

I’ve been using it mostly for weekend trips to Hindhead, Waverley, and it’s been a joy — especially when the weather turns.

It’s not a flashy car, but it’s reliable, tech-savvy, and has actually kept up with the roads. Just wanted to share it with someone who might appreciate it — or maybe just wants a practical, quiet, modern estate that doesn’t need to be flashy.

(Price is £24,291 — it’s not a lot, but it’s what it is.)
