I’ve had this Rickenbacker 330 for a few years now and it’s been a real joy to play. It’s that classic ruby red finish, and the way it chimes when you pick it up – just pure vintage vibe. The photos show it’s in great shape, mostly – there’s one tiny chip near the jack plug and a couple small ones on the headstock edge, but nothing that affects how it sounds or feels. Built in week 40 of 2014, it’s a solid, well-made instrument that’s been in my collection since I first picked it up. I’ve played it regularly, and it still responds beautifully, whether I’m picking or strumming. Comes with the original hard-shell case, which is in decent condition too. It’s one of those guitars that just feels like it belongs in a classic rock or folk setup – I’ve heard it play in a million different ways over the years, from The Beatles to The Who to R.E.M. and beyond. I’m not selling it to make a lot of money, just passing it on to someone who’ll really appreciate how it sounds and looks.
