Description

My kids have gone through every Vitus bike we’ve had — from the balancing bike to the 24” — and they’ve actually grown into them, which is kind of sweet. The 20” model is just right for a younger rider, not too big, not too small. It’s lightweight, mostly aluminium, and feels balanced — the frame and fork are solid without being heavy. The 7-speed Shimano Altus system is enough for little hands, and the thumb shifter is simple to use, so no fumbling around. We’ve noticed the gear changes are smooth and easy, which helps with learning how to ride properly.

The brakes are Tektro V-Brakes with adjustable levers — that means you can tweak them to fit your child’s hand size, which is a real plus. The Vee Speedster tyres are tough and work well on both tarmac and a bit of gravel, which is great for our local trails.

The low Q-factor pedals mean the cleats are close to the ground, so it’s easier for little kids to get a good grip. I’ve used it for a few rides around the yard and a few short trips to the park — they love it. It’s been a great step for them, and honestly, it’s not just about getting them to ride — it’s about making it feel fun and manageable.

It’s in great shape, no major wear, and was kept in a dry spot. Comes with all the parts. I’m moving to Horncastle, East Lindsey, so I’m parting with it — it’s been a solid part of our family ride history.
