IKEA Hemnes single bed with mattress and slats

So, I’ve got this IKEA Hemnes single bed with mattress — black-brown, solid pine, and it’s been in a smoke-free, pet-free home. It’s hardly been used at all, no major scratches or dents, just the natural grain you get with real wood — kind of unique in a way, like each piece has its own character. The frame has been stained and lacquered, so it’s more durable and easy to clean.

It comes with the Luroy slats, which are the ones that go under the mattress — the ones that make it feel a bit more supportive. I know the frame alone would cost £229 at IKEA, so this is a real deal.

Dimensions:
Bed frame — 211cm long x 104cm wide, headboard 112cm high, footboard 66cm.
Mattress — 190cm x 90cm (about 6ft 3in x 3ft).

I’ve already taken it apart for easy viewing and collection. I’m based in Fort William, Highland, so I can deliver it to you — just charge for petrol, no hassle. If you want me to assemble it, that’s £15 — I’ll do it properly, no rush.

The headboard’s high enough that you can sit up comfortably with just a couple of pillows behind you — perfect for reading or watching TV. The footboard keeps sheets from flopping down, and the sides are adjustable so it works with different mattress thicknesses. The 16-layer slats are a bit more flexible than you’d expect, which helps with support.

There’s also room under the bed for boxes — great for extra quilts, sheets, or just keeping things tidy. I’ve even got RÖMSKOG boxes that go under it — though I don’t have them with this one, just thought I’d mention it.
