Vauxhall Astra 1.4 petrol 2007 hatchback
Description
Got this old Astra hatchback from 2007 – it’s a 1.4 petrol, five-door, black, and has just over 98k miles on the clock. It’s been well looked after, not a lot of wear, and I’ve kept it in good shape over the years. The car’s been in my family for a while, so I’ve got two keys and a new Keep Green slip to go with it.It’s ULEZ compliant, so no issues in London or anywhere else that requires it. Inside, it’s got a DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple Car Play, AUX, and a touchscreen – the R4.0 IntelliLink system is actually pretty decent for that era. Air con works well, cruise control with speed limiter, and the windows go up and down with one touch, plus they have safety autoreverse. I’ve kept the original alloy wheels, and the privacy glass is still there.
It has hill start assist, a remote-controlled alarm with ultrasonic sensors, and a tyre pressure monitor. The seats are comfortable, and it’s got a decent amount of space for five people. I’ve used it for daily commutes and weekend trips, mostly around the Isle of Anglesey – tyn-y-gongl to be exact.
It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable and runs smooth. I’m looking to get rid of it because I’ve moved on to a newer model, and it’s just not what I need anymore. If you’re looking for something practical and solid, this one might work for you. Price’s £855 – I’m not asking much, just getting it out of the way.
