I’ve been driving this 2021 Kia Rio for a few months now and honestly, it’s been a solid little car — practical, easy to drive, and packed with features without feeling too flashy. It’s a 1.2L petrol engine, 83bhp, and gets around 52.3mpg combined, which is pretty good for a small hatchback. It hits 62mph in about 12.7 seconds and can go up to 108mph — not a sports car, but it’s quick enough for daily drives.

Inside, it’s got a nice 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, cruise control, reversing camera, and LED lights. The seats are comfortable for five people, and the boot holds about 325 litres — plenty for weekend trips or a full grocery run.
