2016 Hyundai Tucson 1.6 T-GDi Premium SE 5-door Estate
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s been my daily driver, mostly for commuting and weekend trips. It’s a solid, practical estate with a good mix of tech and comfort, and honestly, it’s never let me down. It’s got a 8-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bluetooth, DAB radio, USB/AUX, and all the usual features you’d expect. The driver’s side has a lot of nice touches — heated seats, lumbar support, adjustable steering column, and even a heated steering wheel. The seats are comfy, and I’ve got the 60/40 split folding seats that flatten out completely, which is handy for road trips or when I’m just trying to squeeze in a bit of extra space.
Safety features are pretty comprehensive: blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist, parking sensors, VSC, and even a rear cross-traffic alert. The headlights are adaptive LED with automatic levelling, and the rear view mirror has a compass — super useful when you’re driving in the countryside or on winding roads.
It’s a manual, so I’ve actually grown to love that — gives you more control and keeps the car feeling more connected to the road. The interior is leather, which I appreciate, and the cabin stays nice and cool thanks to the climate control. There’s also a 12V socket in the boot, a cupholder, ashtray, and even a little armrest in the back.
I’ve only used it for personal use, and it’s been well maintained. The only thing I’ll say is that it’s a bit of a heavy car in the winter — I’ve had to be careful with snow, but it handles fine overall.
I’m based in Ferndown, Dorset, and I’ve actually been thinking about selling it because I’m moving into a new house and just want to simplify my car collection. It’s not the flashy kind of car, but it’s reliable, well-equipped, and has actually made a lot of trips easier over the years.
The asking price is £8,505 — not because I’m desperate to sell, but because I’ve just got a new place to move to and I’m looking to keep things simple. If you’re interested, I’m happy to chat. No pressure, just a car I’ve used for real life.
