OEX Bobcat 1 Tent
Description
Got this old-school one-person tent from a bit of a hike in the past—only used twice, both times in really light conditions. It’s still in great shape, the fabric’s not worn through, and everything’s intact. The roll-top bag has four attachment points and the instructions are tucked neatly inside. Comes with the single pole, 15 pegs (as listed), flysheet, inner tent with a single tie, and a ground sheet.Dimensions are 41 x 14 x 14cm when packed, and the internal space is 200cm long, 70cm wide, 100cm high with a 60cm vestibule. There are two internal pockets and two retention pockets on the flysheet. The flysheet door has four zips so you can open it fully or just a bit—useful if you’re not sure about the weather.
I’ve used it mostly for weekend getaways, and it’s been solid. The weight is 1.9kg, hydrostatic head is 5000mm, which is decent for light rain. It’s the outer pitch first design, so it’s a bit more traditional than some newer models.
St-Leonards-on-Sea, Upper Park Road. Still got the photos—just not the prosecco (that one’s a joke, honestly).
