I’m selling my 2016 Jaguar F-Pace R-Sport – it’s a diesel SUV with that classic Jaguar blend of style and substance. It’s got a 2.0-litre engine, good for around 53 mpg, which is pretty solid for a diesel, especially on long drives. The cabin’s comfy with heated front seats and dual climate control, so it doesn’t get too chilly or hot during the UK weather.

I’ve used it mostly for family trips and weekend getaways, and it’s been pretty reliable. The parking aids help with tight spaces, and the xenon headlights mean you can see better at night. The boot’s roomy enough for luggage or a bit of gear, and it can tow up to 2400kg – handy if you’ve got a trailer or a caravan.

It hits 60 in 8.2 seconds, which isn’t a race car but it’s still a bit of a thrill to drive. I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s been mostly driven on tarmac and country roads.

It’s currently in Stroud, Gloucestershire, and I’m not looking to move it – just need to part with it. Price is £9,891, which I’m not going to hide, but I’ll be honest – it’s not a cheap buy, but it’s a solid, capable vehicle with good long-term value.
