This 2006 Vauxhall Astra hatchback has been my daily driver for years – drives smoothly and doesn’t complain. I bought it new and it’s been mostly kept well, no major repairs needed. The manual gearbox is a bit old-school, but it’s reliable and perfect for someone learning to drive or looking for a simple, no-frills car to start with. It’s been parked in northumberland, north east for a while now, and I’m passing it on. Still runs fine, just needs a bit of TLC if you're thinking of using it.
