Vintage Italian giltwood floor lamp, mid 20th Century

Description
This floor lamp is from Italy, mid-20th century, and has a real, hand-carved feel to it. The column is shaped like a Chanel taper, with fine details and a polished gilt finish that’s still quite nice to look at. The base is circular and stands on three bun feet — gives it a solid, grounded look. I’ve had it a while now and it’s been gently used, so there’s a bit of wear, but it’s still very present. The top part was reconditioned a few years ago, and it works perfectly now. No shade comes with it, but it’s a solid decorative piece that fits well in a living room or hallway. I found it in Shetland, Scotland, and just decided to part with it — it’s not much to write home about, but it does have character.Seller Information
