2016 Volkswagen Up! 1.0L Petrol Manual Hatchback
Description
So, I’ve had this 2016 Volkswagen Up! for a few years now — it’s been a solid little car for commuting and weekend trips. It’s not flashy, but it’s practical, easy to drive, and handles city life well. It’s in £320 Jade White Brilliant — not super bright, but clean and not too flashy. Inside, it’s pretty tech-heavy for its time: Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, rear parking sensors, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, and a lane departure warning system. I’ve used the DAB radio a lot — great for listening to different stations, and the CD player still works with MP3s too.
Comfort features are decent: keyless entry, keyless start, aircon, electric door mirrors, rear privacy glass, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The seats are a bit worn after years of use, but the cabin stays nice and tidy. There’s also fog lights, a start/stop function to save fuel, hill hold, and a tyre pressure monitor. First registration was June 2016 — so it’s a fairly low-mileage car for its age.
It’s Euro 6 compliant, so no issues with ULEZ or CAZ zones — that’s a big plus if you live in Salisbury or around there. I’ve had it checked properly, with a full mot and safety check, and it’s been in good condition since new.
I’m selling it because I’ve recently moved to Salisbury, Wiltshire, and I’m looking for something simpler and more affordable for daily use. The price is £5,850 — not a lot, but I’ve kept it well maintained and it’s a reliable little car.
I don’t know if you’re into hatchbacks, but if you’re looking for something compact, efficient, and easy to park — this one’s been a real help for me. I’ve never had any major issues with it.
If you’re interested, I’m happy to chat or meet up — no pressure, just sharing something I’ve used for a while. Let me know!
