So, I’ve got these storage crates sitting in my garage in edlington, Doncaster — and honestly, I’m not sure why I kept them for so long. They’re the kind of thing you only realise you need once you’ve got a mess of stuff piled up.

I’ve used them for years, and I’ve tested them loads — even stacked 192kg of stuff on top of one, and they still hold up. They’re 60cm x 40cm x 33cm, weigh 3kg each, and are made of thick plastic. I’ve seen second-hand ones online, and most of them are either broken or have sticky labels and dents — these are solid, no frills, and actually last.

I bought a few of these years ago when I was sorting out my shed, and I’ve never had to replace one. They’re not fancy, not cheap, not the kind of thing you’d find in a supermarket — but they’re actually really useful.
