I’ve had this Trevor James flute for a few years now – TJ10xIII ref 71 – and it’s been a solid performer in my practice sessions. It’s a UK-made concert flute with a nickel silver body and headjoint, so it has that classic silver finish that looks quite elegant. I’ve used it regularly and it plays well, no issues with tuning or response. The sound is clean and bright, which is exactly what I was looking for when I first got it. I’ve kept it well maintained, and the only thing I’d say is that the photos in the description give a good idea of its condition. It’s currently in a barnard-castle, County Durham storage spot, and I’m looking to part with it after a few years of use. It’s not a show piece or anything fancy, just a solid, reliable flute that I’ve played through a lot of practice and gigs.
