Vintage Style Formica Dining Table with Black Glass Insert
Description
This one’s a bit of a character – a large 6ft vintage-style Formica dining table with a black glass insert. It’s got that classic, slightly worn look that just feels lived-in, not showroom perfect. The table’s brown and black, and the glass has some light scratches, but it’s solid and still holds up well. There are a few marks on the legs and a bit of edge wear on the tabletop, but it’s still usable and comfortable for six to eight people. Measuring 71 inches long, 35.5 inches deep, and just 1.5 inches thick.I’ve got it from a furniture shop I run in Kilsyth, North Lanarkshire – it’s not fancy, but it’s been a staple in my place for years. I’m just letting it go now after a few years of being a bit of a weekend hangout.
If you’re looking for something with a bit of soul and not too much fuss, this might be it. I’ve had it for a while, so it’s in good to fair condition overall.
No delivery included, but if you’re local and want to pop by, I’m happy to show it. The shop’s on the St Paul’s trading estate, off Huddersfield Road, just past the big metal gates next to St Paul’s church – go through them, turn left, and you’ll see it at the bottom of the slope, up from the red steps. Open Monday to Friday 10am–5pm and Saturday 10am–3:30pm. Closed Sundays and long bank holidays.
Priced at £135 – it’s not a lot, but it’s a solid piece with a bit of history. Just thought I’d share it.
