2018 BMW X1 2.0d Sport Estate

Description

So, I’ve had this BMW X1 for a couple of years now — originally from Eccles, but now it’s in Bourton-on-the-water, Cotswold District. It’s a 2018 2.0d diesel, five-door estate with xDrive and Euro 6 compliance. The exterior is mineral grey metallic, and it’s got those 18-inch alloy wheels — light double-spoke style — which I’ve kept pretty much untouched.

Inside, it’s a cloth interior with a decent amount of storage, and I’ve kept it well maintained. Full service history, so I can say with confidence it’s been looked after properly. The navigation’s still working, and I use it all the time when I’m driving around the countryside — especially with the DAB radio and the Bluetooth setup. I don’t use it much for calls, but it’s great for streaming music.

It’s got cruise control with brake function, electric windows, parking sensors, and climate control — so the cabin stays comfortable whether it’s summer or winter. The seats are sporty, which helps when I’m on long drives. I also like the central locking, child seat ISOFIX points, and the alarm with immobiliser — feels solid and secure.

I’ve not driven it for a long time, but I’ve had it checked recently and it’s running well. The battery safety cut-off and rain-sensing wipers are handy features, especially when it’s wet.

It’s not the cheapest car in the world, I know — it’s worth £13,473, but I’ve kept it low maintenance and I’m happy with how it’s been handled.

I’m not selling it to get rich — just passing it on because I’ve moved and I’m looking for something more compact. If you’re in the Cotswolds area and looking for a reliable, practical estate with good tech and a clean service history, this might be something you’d actually enjoy.
