Apollo twilight assembled bike
Description
Got this bike assembled a few years ago and never actually rode it — just kept it in a corner, fully pumped up, tires all good. It’s a solid Chapelford frame, steel build, front suspension fork, 18-speed Shimano gears, and steel V-brakes. Wheels are 26 inch Kenda tyres, and it’s got front suspension — good for light trails or just kicking around the countryside.I’ve been using it to explore the trails near Portree, Highland, and it’s been pretty reliable. The frame’s sturdy, and the components are solid — not flashy, but it does what it’s supposed to.
One thing to note: most sizes can take a rear child seat, but the small one can’t. So if you're thinking of using it for a kid, you might want to go with a pannier rack and a pannier-mounted seat instead.
Still, it’s a real no-nonsense bike — great for getting out into the hills or just enjoying a quiet ride. Price is £108, so it’s a bit of a bargain if you’re looking for something solid without the hype.
Just thought I’d part with it — it’s been sitting in the shed for ages, and I’m finally ready to get a proper bike for proper riding.
