Description

So, I’ve been keeping this one for a few years now — it’s a real gem. It’s a VW T4 Camper King conversion, one of those classic retro campers that just feels right. I bought it straight from CamperKing back in January 2024, and honestly, it’s one of the best examples I’ve ever seen.

The layout is solid — all the standard bits you’d expect: rock & roll bed, pop-top roof, swivel seat, fridge/freezer, sink and hob, all fully insulated. But what really stands out is how much care went into the details. Like, there’s a grill built into the kitchen — no more cooking on the go just because you’re out of gas or no power. And the driver’s seat has a PH 700 heater built in, which really heats up the cabin properly — especially when it’s chilly.

I’ve got premium curtains, two-tone seat covers that match the checkerboard floor and gloss cabinets — gives it that old-school charm but with a modern feel. Outside, it’s got solar panels and Wolf Race black alloys — not flashy, but works well and looks solid on the road.

It’s registered as a motorcaravan, has a CB516 license, 4 berths, and all the basics: gas cupboard with GasSafe fittings, a 20-litre freshwater tank, onboard LED lighting, and even a Kenwood Bluetooth stereo. The control panel and power management system mean it’s easy to manage when you're on the move.

I’ve had the service history on it — oil, pollen filters, cambelt and water pump changed in September 2023. Tyres are from 2022, so nothing’s aged beyond that. The current owner just took it off the road and decided to part with it — I’m not selling it because I want to, it’s just that I’m not using it anymore and it’s been well looked after.

It’s in Spondon, Derby now — no more Bridgend. I don’t know if it’s the most common model, but it’s one of the few that still feels like a real camper — not just a fancy motorhome. The retro shape meets modern comfort, and it’s set up and ready to go.

I’ve only ever had it on the road a few times, and every time it’s been reliable. I’m happy to show it around if you want to see it — just give me a quick message or call.

Price is £16,195.50 — I’ll be honest, that’s not cheap, but it’s the kind of thing I’ve been hoping to find at a fair price. If you’re looking for something with character, style, and real practicality — this might be it.

No fancy marketing here — just a real person with a real vehicle that’s been used responsibly and kept in good shape. If you’re thinking about it, I’d love to chat.
