Description

This Daccordi Furioso is one of those bikes that just feels like it’s been waiting for the right person — not a restoration, not a rebuild, just a quiet, well-kept original from the 1970s. It’s all original Italian steel, built with Columbus tubing (exact model TBC), and it’s been kept indoors since new — mostly just sitting in my dad’s living room for decades. Only came out a couple of times since, and I had it professionally serviced at Condor Cycles in London back in 2023.

It’s got full Campagnolo components: Chorus STI carbon shifters, 14-speed, original U-shape brakes, and a Corratec bar mount with white bar tape (new, dirt-resistant). The pedals are original clipless ones — I’ve kept them, and I can also send over the strap pedals if you prefer (no reflectors though). Wheels are Campagnolo hubs with oil ports, and the rims are Mavic CXP 12 — 622 x 13 / 6106. There’s a Pitlock anti-theft system on both wheels and saddle, and the Serfas saddle has a small crack — it’s still rideable, but I’d ideally see it replaced or re-glued.

It’s been stored carefully since new, never abused, just sitting quietly — so the paint, decals, and finish are all in great shape. I’ve only used it a few times in the last few years, mostly for short rides.

I’m based in Thatcham, West Berkshire, so pickup’s easy if you’re local. If you’re further afield, I can ship it to the UK mainland via Paisley Freight — they’re a bike-specialist courier and pack it properly. Remote Scotland, Northern Ireland, or international shipping possible if needed.

No returns — it’s a private sale, and I just want it to go to someone who actually gets the spirit of these bikes. If you’ve ever seen one in person or even just looked at a photo, you’ll know what a rare find this is. Just a beautiful, original piece of Italian racing history.

P.S. The price is £688.50 — I’m not charging much because it’s just a quiet, well-loved piece of cycling history.
