Description

So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2020 Polo 1.0 EVO 80 SE with the manual gearbox, and it’s been mostly reliable, easy to drive, and I’ve used it for daily commuting and weekend trips. The interior’s clean and well-maintained, and I’ve done a fair bit of upkeep, so it’s not just sitting in a garage — it’s actually been on the road regularly.

The car has a bunch of nice features: App-Connect, digital clock, driver alert system, lights-on warning, multifunction display, power-assisted steering, speedo and rev counter, electronic odometer with trip and service intervals, start/stop system, Volkswagen Connect, seatbelt warning buzzer, battery regeneration during braking, and all the LED bits — daytime running lights, rear number plate lights, and the 3rd brake light.

Inside, it’s got leather gear knob and steering wheel, front and rear reading lights, cupholders, a 12V socket, storage all over — front doors, rear doors, under the seats, centre console — and even a 60/40 split folding rear seat. The seats have height adjustments, sunvisors with mirrors, and even front seat backrest pockets. The luggage space is decent, with a load floor and a cover that’s removable.

I’ve also kept the safety bits in great shape — ABS, ESP with ASR, front and rear airbags, side airbags, hill hold, brake assist, and a tyre pressure monitor. The rear windows have auto-timer heating, and the windows are all electric — front and rear, with wipers and washers.

It’s got the black grille with chrome trim, body-colour bumpers and door handles, and side sills. The interior lighting is adjustable, and there’s a dust/pollen filter. I’ve also got the Isofix prep for rear seats and a jack/tool kit in the boot.

I’m selling it because I’ve moved to Southwell, Newark and Sherwood — it’s just a bit more convenient to keep a smaller car now. It’s not a flashy car, but it’s solid, practical, and I’ve actually driven it a lot over the years.

It’s worth noting I’ve had it serviced regularly and it’s been in good condition — no major issues. The original price was £11,077.20, but that’s not the point anymore — I just want to get it into the right hands.

If you’re looking for something reliable and not too flashy, this might be a good fit. I’ll be in Southwell, so feel free to get in touch if you’re around. No pressure — just honest, real talk about what it is and how it’s been used.
