Merida Cyclocross 9000 CX Bike – Carbon Frame, Electronic Gears, Gravel Road Bike
Description
Got this Merida Cyclocross 9000 a few years ago and it’s been my go-to for trail rides and mixed terrain. Recently upgraded it with a carbon wheelset and switched to electronic gears – both of which really improve the ride. The frame’s carbon, so it’s light and stiff, and the 12-speed rear setup works perfectly. I’ve been using it regularly, and it’s still in great shape, no major wear.I’ve been keeping it for a while now, and it’s finally time to part with it. The wheels alone are worth around £1,000 used, and the gear system is worth about £800. The seat and frame are worth a bit more too – I’d say the parts add up to at least £3,000 in total.
I’ve dropped the price a few times since I first listed it – started at £2,400, then to £1,750, down to £1,600, and now it’s £1,500. Honestly, it’s a real bargain compared to what others are asking. I saw someone on eBay listing the same bike without the upgrades – same model, no carbon wheels, no electronic gears – and they’re asking £6,000. This one has both upgrades, so it’s a lot more value for what you pay.
It’s a small frame, so it’s not too big or heavy. All the parts work, and I’ve gone through every photo – just in case you’re wondering. I’ve used it a lot, so it’s actually been well-maintained.
If you’re looking for a solid, versatile bike with some serious upgrades, this one’s worth checking out. No messers – just a genuine, practical bike I’ve kept for years.
It’s based in Hutton, Westmorland and Furness.
