So, I’ve been looking after this 2018 Golf R R TSI for a few years now — it’s one of those cars that just feels right when you drive it. Tornado Red, manual gearbox, and it’s been properly looked after with full service history. I’m not saying it’s perfect, but it’s been kept clean, driven smartly, and every bit of the kit has been used — from the heated leather seats with grey Alcantara side bolsters to the LED headlights with dynamic light assist and adaptive cruise control.

It came with the R styling pack, winter pack, and XDS+ electronic diff — all of which really help with handling, especially on twisty roads. The 18” alloys are still original, though I’ve got 19” Pretoria-style wheels and four new tyres on it now — that’s an extra £1500, which I’m happy to cover if you’re interested. The original 18” wheels are still available for free, so if you’d like to go back to the original look, just say the word.

I’ve only ever driven it around, never raced it — it’s been a steady companion for me over the years. It’s low mileage, well-maintained, and I’ve kept it in great shape. I’ve actually used it for daily drives, weekend trips, and even some long stretches of the road — and it’s held up well.

I’m based in Llanfyllin, Powys, and I’m happy to meet up or show it over if you’d like to see it in person. The car’s HPI clear, has a full service history, and comes with a minimum of 3 months RAC warranty and breakdown cover — unless it’s still under manufacturer warranty.
