2023 Volkswagen Golf 1.5 TSI Life 5-door Petrol Hatchback
Description
I’ve had this 2023 Golf for a couple of years now and honestly, it’s been one of my most reliable cars. It’s a Life trim, so not the top-end model, but it still has a solid mix of tech and practicality. The 1.5L petrol engine is smooth and efficient—gets around 52 mpg, which means fewer trips to the filling station and less stress on the wallet. It’s got all the basics: DAB radio, Bluetooth, USB, wireless phone charging, and even a driver alert system. The cabin feels modern, and the air conditioning works well even on hot days. I’ve used it for daily commuting and weekend trips, and it handles the road well. The boot’s big enough for a couple of bags and a bit of gear, which helps when I’m out and about.
It’s got a few smart safety features too—adaptive cruise, lane keep assist, front and rear parking sensors, and even a pre-crash warning system. The rain sensor kicks in automatically, which is a small but useful thing. I’ve kept it well maintained and it’s been in good condition since I picked it up.
It’s from a manufacturer-approved stock, so it’s not a used car with major wear—just a bit of the normal use you’d expect. I’ve driven it fairly regularly, and it’s always been quiet and responsive.
I’m based in Midsomer Norton, Bath and North East Somerset, and I’m looking to part with it after a few years of solid use. I’ve had it for a couple of years now and it’s been reliable, low-maintenance, and just about everything I wanted in a daily driver.
I’m not selling it because I need to, but it’s time to move on to something new—so I’m happy to hand it over. I’ve kept it clean and well looked after, and it’s still running strong.
(Just a quick note: it’s a used car, so it’s not new, but it’s been properly maintained and comes with all the features you’d expect from a modern Golf.)
