Counter Freezer Polar G-Series Single Door 88Ltr GN 1/1 - FA443
Description
I’ve been using this freezer for a few months now and honestly, it’s become a real game-changer in my kitchen. It’s the Polar G-Series single door model, 88 litres, and it’s actually still in the original packaging — just like when it came out of the box. I didn’t even know how much I’d miss it until I got rid of my old one. It’s not just storage — you can actually prep sandwiches, smoothies, or salads right there in the fridge without having to go to the back of the fridge or the cupboard. The 72-litre chilled space is more than enough for what I cook, and the fan-assisted cooling keeps things cold even when I’m opening and closing the door all the time, which I do a lot.
The digital controller is simple to use and lets you set the temperature exactly — super helpful for keeping food fresh and not going off. I’ve noticed a real drop in food waste since switching to it.
It’s built tough — the kind of fridge you’d see in a commercial kitchen, with strong components and a solid frame. It handles the heat pretty well too, up to 32°C, which is useful since I live in a bit of a coastal area.
There’s a small dent on the side, which happened during transport — nothing major, and it’s still solid and functions perfectly. I’m not even sure how it got that, but it’s not affecting anything.
I’m moving to Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, and I’m just passing it on to someone who might actually appreciate how useful this thing is. It’s not fancy, but it’s reliable, easy to clean, and actually makes cooking smoother. I’ve had it for a couple of years and it’s still running great. Price is £225 — just thought I’d mention that.
