Kitchen table

This is a solid oak kitchen table I made myself back in the day – thick, sturdy, and built to last. It’s 6ft by 3ft, so it’s quite a big piece, and the top is 30mil granite, which I’ve kept because it’s solid and looks great. There’s a drawer at each end, which is handy for storing cutlery or kitchen tools. It’s heavy – like, really heavy – so if you’re moving it, you’ll need a couple of people to lift it. The granite top comes off, which makes it easier to move around if you ever need to. I’ve lived with it for years, and it’s been a real workhorse in my kitchen. It’s sitting in my back garden at dorridge, Dorridge Road now, and I’m just letting it go because I’ve got a new setup. It’s not fancy, but it’s solid and actually works well.
