Custom Bobber BMW R 1200 C
Description
I’ve had this BMW R 1200 C for a few years now and it’s basically my daily ride with a bit of a wild twist. It’s a full Bobber conversion – completely dechromed and powder-coated by Aerocoat, with a custom paint job from AirFX that gives it a real, no-nonsense look.I gutted it down to the bones for a proper “Bob Job”: pillion seat gone, replaced with a hand-stitched leather solo seat that has LED brake and tail lights built in. The rear fender was cut down, and I added a custom number plate and rear light bracket made by C S Engineering.
Upgrades include Renthal wide-grip handlebars, Harley-style mirrors and grips, a Kalinski exhaust, and a Hyperpro rear suspension upgrade. The wheels were refurbished and respoked with new Metzeler tyres. I also went with Goodridge Racing clutch and brake lines, Oxford Slider LEDs, and a custom LED “Angel” headlight with its own bracket.
All the parts were professionally done – no half measures. It’s got 19,000 miles from new, full service history, and a fresh MOT due in June 2026. I’m not selling it for a lot, just a fair offer – I’ve been using it regularly and it’s been solid through the years.
It’s based in Jedburgh, Scottish Borders, and if you’re serious about a custom, no-frills bike with a real personality, this one’s been sitting in the garage for years waiting for the right person.
Sensible offers or part exchange are definitely on the table.
