I’m selling my 2008 Toyota Crown 3.5 Hybrid Special Edition – it’s a real gem, and I’ve only just recently decided to part with it. It’s been parked in Newnham, Borough of Swale for the past few years, mostly just sitting in the garage, which is why it’s still in near-perfect condition.

Mileage is a very low 36,600 miles – not a lot for a car that’s over 15 years old. The battery was just replaced last month, so it’s been running smoothly since. It’s got all the smart features: soft-close doors, reverse camera, electric memory seats, rear electric seats, electric mirrors, rear windscreen blind, and passenger window blinds. The steering column adjusts electrically too, and there’s cruise control and a rear passenger audio control – handy for family trips.

It’s got a silky-smooth 3.5-litre engine, and honestly, it feels like you’re floating when you drive it. The hybrid system works well, and it’s a joy to handle. I’ve had it checked with a full MOT just 12 months ago, and it’s been kept in a dry, climate-controlled space – no salt, no exposure, just clean and tidy.

It’s a Japanese import, so it’s rust-free, inside and out. No salt on UK roads in winter, and most of the time, cars are parked indoors in Japan – that’s why they stay so pristine. I’ve never seen a car look this good at this age.
