2016 Knaus Sky TI 700 MX 3/4 Berth Motorhome with Island Bed
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this motorhome for a few years now — it’s a 2016 Knaus Sky TI 700 MX, built in Germany, and honestly, it’s one of those things that just feels right. The kind of van you’d actually want to spend weekends in, not just drive around for a quick trip. It’s a 3/4-berth setup, so it’s not too cramped, and there’s a big island bed at the back — perfect if you’re sharing with family or just want a bit of extra space. The front dinette sleeps three, which is handy for weekend getaways with friends or even a couple with kids.
Under the skin, it’s a Fiat Ducato with a 2.3L diesel engine, manual gearbox, and I’ve kept the mileage at just under 56,000 — not bad for a van that’s been well looked after. It’s 7.47m long, about 2.34m wide, and weighs 3,850kg — solid, stable, and not too heavy to move around.
Inside, it’s all well-equipped: full kitchen with gas hob, oven, grill, and fridge/freezer — nothing fancy, but nothing you’d ever miss. The lounge has swivel captain’s chairs, a big dining table that swings out, and the bathroom is modern with a separate shower, cassette toilet, and basin. Plenty of storage, mirrors, and flyscreens on all the windows — keeps things tidy and quiet.
Extra bits: solar panels, LED lighting all over, a bike rack, and a Truma combo heating and hot water system. There’s also a full awning and all the storage you’d need — both inside and outside.
I’ve kept it clean, smoke-free, and serviced regularly — it’s been through a full MOT, PDI, and habitation survey, with a 3-month warranty. It’s got a Scorpian Thatcham S5 tracker and immobiliser (about £400, can talk more if you’re interested).
I’m happy to take part exchanges or help with finance if anyone’s looking to get into motorhome life.
It’s based in Lifton, Liftondown — I’m happy to show it around, and we’re open 7 days a week, so no problem if you’d like to come see it.
