I’m selling my 2017 Skoda Superb Estate – a diesel model with the 2.0 TDI engine, Euro 6 compliant, and a solid 7-speed DSG gearbox. It’s been well looked after and feels like it’s been driven smartly, not overdone.

The boot’s big enough for a couple of suitcases and a bit of gear, which is handy if you’re moving around or just need extra space. Inside, it’s got a panoramic sunroof, LED headlights, and a driver’s seat that’s electric and has memory settings – I use the lumbar support a lot, so it’s a real comfort feature.

The touchscreen has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so I can keep up with my phone while driving. There’s also adaptive cruise control, which helps on long drives – especially when you’re on the motorway.

Fuel economy’s pretty good at around 61 mpg, which is a big plus. And it’s in a low insurance group, so running costs aren’t a surprise.

It’s parked at Peterlee, County Durham, and I’m happy to take viewings or arrange a drive-through if you're local. I’ve kept it running well and have done minimal maintenance, so it’s reliable and feels solid.

If you’re looking for a practical, feature-packed estate car that doesn’t break the bank on fuel or insurance, this one’s a decent fit. It’s not flashy, but it does what it’s supposed to – quietly, efficiently, and with a bit of comfort.

(Price: £7,650 – I’ve been thinking about it, and it’s a fair bit for a used diesel estate, but I’m not holding out for a lot.)
