I’ve had this reel for a few years now, but honestly, I’ve never actually used it for fishing — it’s been sitting in a cupboard, stored without a box, which is why there are just a couple of tiny scratches. Still, it’s completely new and in great shape.

I’ve got a second carbon spool too (worth well over £20), and both spools come with fresh line. The reel feels solid — the drag is smooth, and it’s got that strong, low-ratio gear system that’s a bit like the Penn Surfmaster. The aluminium handle gives you good power when you need it, and the anti-twist line roller means you can use either braided or monofilament without worrying about twist or line damage.

It’s got stainless steel ball bearings, anodised spool, and is fully saltwater protected — perfect for surf casting on the shore. I’ve never used it in real fishing conditions, so it’s like buying a brand-new reel with zero wear.

The box is still with it, and the spare spool is included. I’m from Derbyshire, England, and it’s just something I’ve been keeping around for a while — now I’m downsizing and thought it’d be useful to someone else. It’s a solid piece, not flashy, but it does what it’s supposed to.
