So, I’ve been looking at my old car for a while and finally decided to part with this 2023 Ford Fiesta. It’s a pretty solid one — only had one owner, just 4,789 miles on it, and it’s been well looked after.

It’s the 1.0L petrol hybrid with the EcoBoost engine, which gives it a nice balance of fuel efficiency and performance. The 125bhp version gets from 0 to 62mph in about 9.4 seconds — not a race car, but definitely quicker than most of its peers.

The interior is tidy and practical. LED headlights with fog lights, heated seats, heated steering wheel — all part of the Winter Pack, so it’s more comfortable in winter. I’ve used the rear parking sensors and rear view camera quite a bit, especially when parking in tight spots. The cruise control with speed assist and intelligent speed assist helps with long drives, and the climate control keeps the cabin nice and comfortable.

I’ve actually only driven it a couple of times a month over the years, so it’s still in pretty good shape. The only thing I’d say is that it’s a manual — not flashy, but gives you more control.

I’m based in Hornsea, East Riding of Yorkshire, and it’s been parked in a quiet spot near the road — not too far from the A168. I’ve been thinking about selling it because I’m shifting to a different kind of car now, and I wanted to find something that’s reliable and practical.

The car comes with a 12-month warranty and roadside assistance — both standard with Vospers. I’ve actually used the roadside help a few times in the past, and it’s been pretty solid. The team at Vospers is a family-run lot, with roots going back to the 1940s, and they’ve got locations across Devon and Cornwall. I’ve known a few people through them over the years — they’re solid, and the service is good.
