Honda Civic Type S GT Type R Replica 2.2 Diesel 2 Door

Description

So, I’ve had this Honda Civic Type S GT (Type R replica) for a few years now — it’s a 2008 58 plate, 2.2 litre diesel, 140bhp, and it’s got that cool GT setup. I bought it with the idea of swapping it out or just using it as a project, so I’m not holding out for a big sale — just passing it on.

It’s a nice looking car, definitely has that sporty feel with the suede seats, sports pedals, wind deflectors, and that full Type R kit. The 18-inch Dare alloys look sharp, especially with the tinted front grill and xenon HDI lights — really pops at night. The panoramic roof was an optional extra, and it’s there.

It’s a 2-door hatchback, black — I think that’s one of the best colours for this model. The interior is mostly silver trim, with stitched gear knob and steering wheel, and there’s a bit of sporty flair all around.

There’s a few things to note: the sunroof blind doesn’t open, just closes — not a big deal, but worth knowing. A little paint blistering on the right rear quarter, and a small squeak from one of the top mounts. The clutch has a slight rattle, but it still drives fine. I’ve been driving it regularly and it’s been reliable.

MOT expired, so no official compliance, but the engine and gearbox are both solid. The rear beam has been replaced (common issue on Civics), so no worries there. Rear seats fold flat, which is handy if you ever need more space.

It’s done about 176k miles on the motorway, and I’ve done my own checks — gearbox and engine both fine.
