Description

I’ve got a QNAP TVS-951X NAS sitting in my garage here in Sturminster-Newton, Dorset — brand new, never used, still in the original box. I’m not sure how it got there, honestly, just found it tucked away and decided to part with it.

It’s a solid setup for people who want a media server, backup system, or just a tidy home lab. The 2GB of RAM is upgradeable, and it has a decent quad-core CPU (Celeron J3455), which runs fine for everyday use. You get five 3.5” drive bays and four 2.5” SSD bays — perfect if you're doing caching or running a Plex or Kodi setup.

It’s got one 10GbE port and two USB 3.0 ports, plus an HDMI output. That means you can plug it into a TV or monitor and use it as a media center — especially nice if you’re into streaming or home content.

Bonus: I’ve included the original QNAP remote (RM-IR004) — brand new, unused, worth about £30 on its own. It’s not flashy, but it works great with the HD Station or Plex apps.

Everything’s in the box: power cable, Ethernet cable, manuals, and the remote. The NAS is basically a full-featured media and storage hub, and I’m not even sure how I ended up with it — just knew it was time to get rid of it.

I’m not selling it for a lot — it’s just something I’ve had around for a while. The retail price for the unit alone is over £700, and that’s without the remote. So yeah, it’s a real deal.

If you're into home media, backups, or just want a reliable NAS without the premium price tag, this could be useful. Let me know if you’d like to chat — I’ve used it a bit for testing, so it’s all good.
