2016 Audi A5 2.0 TDI Black Edition Sportback
Description
I’ve been driving this 2016 Audi A5 2.0 TDI for a few years now and it’s honestly one of the most reliable and comfortable cars I’ve ever had. It’s a sporty-looking coupe with a sleek, modern feel—especially in the Sportback version, which gives you that bit of extra space without losing the cool factor. The diesel engine’s got a good punch—around 187 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque—so it’s quick enough for city driving and not a problem on the open road. It hits 62 mph in about 7.7 seconds and can go up to 130 mph, which is fine for most of my trips. The 7-speed S tronic gearbox is smooth, and I’ve never had a gear change feel clunky.
Fuel economy’s actually pretty solid—around 67–70 mpg in the UK, which means it’s efficient without sacrificing performance. It meets Euro 6 standards, so no worries about emissions. The boot’s 465 litres, which is more than enough for daily stuff, and the car has a 12-litre AdBlue tank—just like the rest of the diesel fleet.
Inside, it’s all about comfort and detail. The cabin feels premium, with nice materials, clean controls, and a 7-inch touchscreen that’s easy to use. I’ve got the MMI Navigation Plus, Bluetooth, DAB radio, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system—pretty much everything I’d want in a daily driver. The heated seats are a real comfort in winter, and the electric windows and heated mirrors make it a breeze to drive in all kinds of weather.
It’s got a full suite of safety features: ABS, ESP, airbags all around, parking sensors, and even a rear-view mirror with auto-dimming. The alloy wheels (19-inch, 10-spoke gloss black) look sharp, and the interior trim is clean and polished. I’ve also got a spare wheel and a first aid kit just in case.
I live in dollar, Clackmannanshire now, and I’m happy to take it off the road if you’re local. It’s been well-maintained, HPI clear, and I’ve had it checked by a qualified mechanic—no hidden issues. I’m not selling it for a lot, just putting it out there because I’m looking to move on and someone else might find it useful.
If you’re interested, I’m happy to meet up or arrange a view. No pressure—just a solid, reliable car with great value. Let me know if you’d like to chat.
