Original oil painting by Silvatie – Serenity at the river’s edge

I’ve had this painting for years and it’s been a quiet favourite in my home. It’s an original oil on canvas by Silvatie, signed in the lower right corner — the signature’s clean and legible. The scene is a peaceful dawn moment by a forest stream, with soft golden light spilling through birch trees and catching in the water. There’s a lovely balance between real detail and that impressionistic, dreamy quality — like you’re actually standing there. It’s framed in a vintage gold-tone decorative frame, which is quite lovely and still holds up well. The canvas is stable, no issues at all, and the frame has just a bit of wear — nothing major, just a little scuff here and there. I’m not sure where it came from originally, but it’s been a real comfort piece for me over the years. It’s currently in Donaghadee, Ards and North Down District Council, and I’m just letting it go because I’ve found a new space that doesn’t need it quite the same. It’s worth £76.50, but I’m not selling it for that — I’m just sharing it with someone who might really appreciate it.
