Got this cactus a few years ago and it’s grown quite nicely—now it’s about the size of a small hand. It bloomed last year, and the flower was stunning, just like in the photo. I’ve kept it in a sunny spot in my garden in Cleobury Mortimer, Shropshire, and it’s been in a smoke-free home the whole time. It’s not a showpiece, just a happy little plant that’s been growing well. I’m not using it for anything fancy, just keeping it around. It’s actually a bit of a pride project—still has that big flower, so it’s not just sitting there. I’ve been meaning to part with it for a while now, so thought I’d share it.
