Falcon Vintage Steel Road Bike Reynolds 531 Serviced Rust Free
Description
So this is my old Falcon — a rare rust-free Reynolds 531 from the Ernie Clements era. One of those classic lightweight road bikes that were made to be light, strong, and smooth. I’ve had it serviced properly, every bit of it stripped down and cleaned out — no rust, no dents, just clean steel. It’s a 57cm frame, big and upright, so if you’re around 6ft, it’ll fit you just right. Came in Cadbury metallic purple — looks sharp, feels good. The bars were converted to flat bars, so it’s not a traditional road bike — more of a street rider or gravel setup. The clearance is huge, so you can easily fit wider tyres if you’re doing off-road stuff. I’ve even thought about turning it into a touring bike if needed.
It’s got a Shimano Altus groupset, Winemann brakes, Schwalbe tyres, a lightweight chainset, and a fluted aluminium seat post. All the bits are solid, everything’s been checked. I’ve ridden it over 1000 times — it’s been through the wringer, and still rides like a dream.
I’m based in Lochgelly, Station Road. If you’re interested, just drop me a message — I’ll share more details. I’ve actually tested every bike I list, so you know it’s been ridden, checked, and treated like it matters.
No price in the title — just the bike, how it is, and why it’s special. And yeah, I’m not selling it to just anyone — I want it to be a real part of someone’s ride.
