BMW S 1000 RR Sport 2014
Description
I’ve had this 2014 BMW S 1000 RR Sport for a few years now and it’s been one of my go-to bikes for track days and long rides. It’s not a radical redesign — BMW didn’t need to, it was already the most powerful production bike out there back then. In 2010, 24% of all sportbikes sold globally were S1000RRs, so it clearly had a strong following. The engine’s still got that 193bhp, but the updates from the second generation really made it feel sharper. The power delivery is smoother at low revs, and the chassis tweaks from real racing data mean it’s more responsive and easier to handle. I’ve always liked how it handles different riding styles — you can go full Race mode for serious throttle, or switch to Rain mode (now up to 163bhp) if you're riding in wet conditions.
It’s got a custom paint job and I’ve added a MHP exhaust and a Power Commander for better tuning. I’ve actually tested it quite a bit — if you’re into the sportbike scene and want something that’s both powerful and refined, this one’s worth a look.
It’s currently based in Clacton-on-Sea, Tendring, and I’m happy to arrange a video call or a quick chat if you’d like to see it in action.
Price is £7,371 — I’ll keep that to myself for now, but if you’re interested, I’ll go over the details properly.
No fancy marketing here — just a bike I’ve used, loved, and kept well maintained. If you’re serious about riding and want something with real performance and character, this might be the one.
Let me know if you’d like to talk — I’m usually available to chat between 9am and 5.30pm, Monday to Saturday.
