I’ve had this Kia Rio since 2021 and it’s been a solid daily driver. It’s a manual hatchback with a clean, practical layout — perfect for city drives and weekend trips. The interior is tidy, and it’s got a decent setup: 8-inch touchscreen with DAB, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, both with voice control. Bluetooth and USB ports everywhere — front and rear — so you can keep playing your tunes or charging devices without hassle.

It’s got cruise control with speed limiter, rear parking sensors, reversing camera with dynamic lines, and a tachometer and trip computer. I use the TPMS and windscreen washer level warning regularly — both work well. The 15-inch alloy wheels are body-coloured, and there’s a good mix of practical features: heated rear window, electric windows (auto-up/down), heated door mirrors with LED indicators, and even a welcome light that turns on when you get in.

I didn’t go for flashy bits, so it’s not packed with gadgets — just what you need. The seats are foldable (60-40 split), and the centre console has storage and a sliding armrest. It’s a bit of a no-frills car, but it’s reliable, comfortable, and easy to maintain.

I’ve driven it from yarm, Stockton-on-Tees for years, and it’s been a great fit for my routine. It’s been well looked after, and I’m not planning to sell it soon — but I’m thinking of letting it go now because I’m upgrading.
