Reclaimed Black Rustic Farmhouse Dining Table

So, I’ve got this old dining table that’s been completely restored – it’s not new, but it’s definitely got a lot of character. It’s a reclaimed black farmhouse style table, sanded and waxed, with a solid black painted base. The wood has a bit of that rustic charm – knots, dents, the whole thing – which I think adds to its authenticity.

It’s a solid 4–6 seater, about 135cm long, 79cm wide, and 78cm high (roughly 4.5ft). The legs are thick and sturdy – don’t worry, they’re not coming off, so no dismantling needed. I’ve kept a few of the original quirks in place, like the natural wood texture and slight imperfections, because that’s what makes it feel real.

I’ve only just finished the restoration, so it’s in great condition – sturdy, stable, and looks great with a bit of warmth around it. The bench shown is a separate item and can be bought for £75 if you’re interested – but chairs? Already sold.

Price is £180. No haggling, no offers – it’s a fixed price. I’m happy to arrange a collection from ellesmere, Shropshire, but please give me 24 hours’ notice if you’re coming to pick it up.

I’m not selling it to anyone who’s just looking for a “perfect” piece – this is vintage, handcrafted, and has a previous life. There might be minor signs of age or wear, but it’s a solid, functional table that just feels lived-in.
