I’ve got this Akai Midimix sitting in my studio in Ryde, Isle of Wight, and I’ve been using it for years — it’s a solid, reliable midi controller with 9 faders and 24 knobs. It’s been great for mixing in DAWs and controlling hardware, and the profiles for most software mean you can just plug it in and start working straight away. I’ve since switched to a Faderport 8, but this one still works well and I’ve kept it as a backup. If you're into audio or mixing, it’s a handy piece.
