Description

I’ve had this 2018 Peugeot 208 Allure for a few years now and it’s been my go-to car for everything – commuting, weekend drives, and just getting around without too much fuss. It’s a solid little hatchback with a clean, modern look and that classic Peugeot practicality. The 1.2L PureTech engine runs smoothly and I’ve noticed it’s surprisingly economical – up to 59 mpg, which means fewer fill-ups. That’s a real win when you’re trying to keep costs down.

It’s got a 7-inch touchscreen that works with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which I use all the time. Bluetooth’s there too, so I can keep hands off the wheel when I’m on calls. The manual air conditioning is a bit of a charm – especially when it’s hot – and the glovebox vent helps keep things cool. I’ve also got rear parking sensors which make parking in tight spots way easier, especially when I’m not used to driving in narrow streets.

Inside, it’s roomy for a hatchback – the rear seats are comfortable and there’s good headroom. I’ve used the ISOFIX mounts a few times with kids, and the seatbelts are solid. The chrome door mirrors and LED daytime running lights give it a sharp, polished feel. I even keep the 12V socket handy for charging devices on the go.

It’s a low insurance group car, so premiums are manageable, and the CO2 emissions are low – not a huge fan of the environment, but I appreciate it’s a bit greener than some of the older models. The car’s been well maintained, no major issues, and I’ve kept it in good shape. Tinted windows, alloy wheels (Titane), and a full list of safety features like ESP, ABS, airbags, and a Cat 2 immobiliser mean it’s safe and secure.

I’m moving to Kenilworth, Warwick, and this one’s going with me. It’s not flashy, but it does exactly what I need it to do – reliable, easy to drive, and not too fussy. I’ve even got a spare wheel and a jack, just in case. It’s not a luxury car, but it’s been a real workhorse for me over the years.

Price is £4,409.10 – I’m not trying to sell it at a premium, just passing it on to someone who might find it useful.
